What price data does the MTG Card Screener use?
The Price and trend columns use daily TCGPlayer market prices for both regular and foil printings, refreshed daily, with 7-day, 30-day, and 90-day windows. The Sell For column estimates what you would net after marketplace fees, eBay sold comps where available.
What does the Sell For column mean?
Sell For is the best net amount you can realistically expect to keep after selling a card, after marketplace fees. By default it is the TCGplayer market price minus seller fees, and the source tag reads TCG. When a card has enough recent eBay sold listings, Sell For uses the eBay sold median net instead and the tag reads eBay. It is a realizable sell estimate, not a guaranteed sale price, and not investment advice.
